4 Ways To Cook With Cauliflower
Apparently cauliflower is the new black. Or the new kale. Or whatever the cool new thing is right now. And I don’t get it because I’ve been cooking cauliflower for ages, but it’s been in Refinery29 and Trendland, in The Grid and the Huffington Post, so I guess it’s a thing.
Anyway, in case you haven’t been cooking cauliflower (and also perhaps have missed out on every supermarket vegetable tray created in the last twenty years), I thought I’d do a roundup of some of my favourite cauliflower recipes so that you can jump on this 2014 vegetable bandwagon and feel a little trendy in the kitchen. So toss out that stinky old kale (just kidding, I still love kale) and let’s get cooking.
1. My Italian roots confirm that everything is better with a little onion, garlic, parmesan, & EVOO.
2. The Naked Chef delivers another delicious dish with this spicy cauliflower.
3. 5 ingredients and a food processor get you an amazingly close approximation of “rice.”
4. This honey-roasted recipe appeals to my penchant for all things sweet and salty.
